When Cyril “Pete” Korte launched his excavating business in 1958, among his first projects was installing gas service lines.  Over the next 20 years, Korte & Luitjohan established its reputation as a leader in water and sewer line installation.  In 1984, K & L completed construction of its first Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in St. Jacob, IL.
