Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. is looking for an experienced STAFF ACCOUNTANT to

join our team!

Our STAFF ACCOUNTANT will be responsible for processing and maintaining financial data

for project costs, vendor and subcontractor invoices, and union payroll including fringe benefits,

ensuring accurate job costing, timely payments, and compliance with union, legal, state, and

grant requirements.

You must have a minimum of two years of accounting or payroll experience. A strong

understanding of payroll regulations, prevailing wage requirements, and basic accounting

principles is required. You must also have a proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a

fast-paced construction environment. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are also

important as you will be engaging with owners, engineers, vendors, and internal teams.



An associate degree or equivalent coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is

preferred. Experience in processing union payroll and fringe benefits, as well as using

construction accounting systems and certified payroll reporting are a big plus. Familiarity with

union contracts and collective bargaining agreements are also desired.

Pay: $60,000 to $65,000

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shift

Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off (3 weeks starting), 7 paid holidays, dental and vision

insurance, 401(k) and matching contribution, and profit sharing
