Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. was hired for the renovation of four existing science laboratory classrooms at Carl Sandburg College. The scope included refurbishing and partially re-configuring the wood casework, replacing epoxy counter-tops and related electrical, ventilation, and plumbing work, and removal of flooring for a new sealed concrete finish. Additionally, two fume hoods were replaced and two fume hoods were removed.

This work progressed in two phases around the students and their class schedules.
