In 2011, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church selected Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc., as the General Contractor for the construction of the new 800-seat capacity church.
The upper level of the bi-level structure includes the worship space entry that can be utilized for overflow capacity. This level also includes a separate 80’ bell tower structure in which the existing parish bells were placed after their renovation.
The lower level includes the Parish offices, meeting rooms, and a spacious fellowship hall. The lower level is accessible to the beautiful outside landscape of the surrounding community with a full height walk-out of the lower level perimeter.
The octagon-shaped, 120-ft clear span sanctuary space was designed utilizing structural glue-laminated architectural beams joined at the center with a 25-ft diameter compression ring.
Improvements on the 35-acre site included the construction of an entry road that utilized a prefabricated arch spanning bridge to cross an existing creek, a water main, and sanitary sewer lines.
