Gateway Urgent Care

Granite City based Gateway Regional Medical Center held an open house and ribbon cutting Thursday, January 5th in honor of their new Urgent Care Facility in Columbia, Illinois. They will officially open for business on Monday, January 9th. The new medical facility will be the first business to open their doors in the nearly completed 11-South Professional Center, with more to follow in the coming months.

Construction of the 5-story professional office building began in November of 2105, with Korte & Luitjohan as the Construction Manager. Glass is used extensively around the 60,000 square foot building which provides beautiful views of the Columbia bluffs landscape and Jefferson Barrack’s Bridge over the Mississippi River. The fifth floor features a large conference room with access to a roof terrace, which will be available for a wide range of events.
